Apparently Kyng is the one, and so far only, opener.

Don't know them, but their name is fucking awful.

I hope at least one good opener is added to this tour, so I can justify spending the money on this. I don't really care enough to spend 40 bucks for Megadeth alone.

Nah, I lol'd because I think it's hilarious that they can play at the Tsongas Arena and have the ticket sales be low as fuck. And then their next tour, they got downgraded to the palladium.

I dig the first six Megadeth albums though.

This isn't the first time they've played the Palladium. I saw them there on my birthday like four years ago. The worst Megadeth ticket sales I've ever seen was around 98 when they played Great woods and only seats in sections 1,2, and 3 had sold and like the first couple of rows of the top sections. It was really sad. A friend of mine walked right into Avalon on the Risk tour and said no one was even taking tickets at the door but I didn't make it to that show.

toggletoggle post by Spence at Sep 11,2012 12:50pm
I know, they were a headliner at NEMAHF once right?

I just think it's silly they can play a venue with... what, an 8K capacity? Then later that same year, in the same fucking state, play a venue which only has a 2K or so capacity.

toggletoggle post by Mark_R at Sep 11,2012 12:51pm edited Sep 11,2012 12:52pm
^ haha wow. And that was still during their commercial-big period. Dave seems obsessed with doing everything he can to make Megadeth LOOK like an arena level band when we all know they just aren't that anymore. I'd be surprised if they didn't at least look at House of Blues Boston for that date though. I'd be a lot more willing to consider going to that if it were right in town.

Last time I saw Megadeth was 2006 with Overkill, paid $10 at the door, huge venue, barely anybody there, Overkill kicked ass, Megadeth was fine. I would need some really good reason to go back at a higher price now.

Well, they did have Slayer and Megadeth to draw at the Tsongas the first time then Motorhead and Volbeat.

I just think it's silly they can play any venue with any capacity and people will gladly pony up 40 dollars to go see a band that put out their best material decades ago and now the voice of the band is a complete conservative Christian wingnut and an affront to everything metal stands for and people continue to not have any problem with this and cling desperately to non-existent hope that this band will one day kick ass again even though that will never ever happen and all that energy could instead be spent forming my own band or supporting other new bands that are in their prime right now

The setlists in Europe:

01. Trust
02. Hangar 18
03. Take No Prisoners
04. A Tout Le Monde
05. Whose Life (Is It Anyways?)
06. Public Enemy No. 1
07. Headcrusher
08. Skin o' My Teeth
09. Symphony of Destruction
10. Architecture of Aggression
11. Foreclosure of a Dream
12. Sweating Bullets
13. This Was My Life
14. Countdown to Extinction
15. High Speed Dirt
16. Psychotron
17. Captive Honour
18. Ashes in Your Mouth
Encore:
19. Peace Sells
20. Holy Wars... The Punishment Due

If this is the same setlist they're going to be playing on the North American tour, then I don't have any major complaints other than a lack of the first/third album.

What is erectile dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction (ED), also known as impotence, is the inability to achieve or sustain an erection for satisfactory sexual activity. Erectile dysfunction is different from other conditions that interfere with male sexual intercourse, such as lack of sexual desire (decreased libido) and problems with ejaculation and orgasm (ejaculatory dysfunction). This article focuses on the evaluation and treatment of erectile dysfunction.

How common is erectile dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction (ED, impotence) varies in severity; some men have a total inability to achieve an erection, others have an inconsistent ability to achieve an erection, and still others can sustain only brief erections. The variations in severity of erectile dysfunction make estimating its frequency difficult. Many men also are reluctant to discuss erectile dysfunction with their doctors due to embarrassment, and thus the condition is underdiagnosed. Nevertheless, experts have estimated that erectile dysfunction affects 30 million men in the United States.

While erectile dysfunction can occur at any age, it is uncommon among young men and more common in the elderly. By age 45, most men have experienced erectile dysfunction at least some of the time. According to the Massachusetts Male Aging Study, complete impotence increases from 5% among men 40 years of age to 15% among men 70 years and older. Population studies conducted in the Netherlands found that some degree of erectile dysfunction occurred in 20% of men between ages 50-54, and in 50% of men between ages 70-78. In 1999, the National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey counted 1,520,000 doctor-office visits for erectile dysfunction. Other studies have noted that approximately 35% of men 40-70 years of age suffer from moderate to severe ED, and an additional 15% may have milder forms.

I was there last night. Sound was fucking awful for first half of the set. We kept chanting " turn it up " which they finally did during architecture of aggression.

Set list consisted of :
Trust
Hangar 18
She-Wolf
A Tout Le Monde
Whose life is it anyways
Public Enemy no. 1
ENTIRE Countdown Album
Peace Sells
Holy Wars

The show was good. Not worth the $45 considering the sound was awful for the first 9 songs. If they had the sound right for the whole show it'd be worth it. I can't see the palladium sound being much better though. Place was fucking packed as tight as a butthole last night too, but they were selling tickets at the door, so I don't think it was sold out.
