if it wasnt for the weird background thing... i would have only heard 2 notes in over a minute. thats pretty gay. also it had the sme rhythm for pretty much the whole song until the end when it has a cheesy sounding nu-metal/hardcore "breakdown"

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 19,2004 1:15pm
they did have a cheesy break down!
I was moving my head like a pigeon when it came on.

maybe if the quality was better I could hear more, but it sounds a lot better than the last cd. sounds a little bit like ALOL....

No one can have a problem with Futile Bread Machine.

I listened to it and I dunno... it's just not what it used to be. It's got the Chaosphere speed but not the style or intensity. The style is more like Nothing sped up. I do like a decent portion though. From the beginning of the guitar lead up til the little ding dong thing (2:27). I still don't think them album'll be able to compare to DEP/Chaosphere. That was definitely their prime.

sounds a little bit like ALOL....

alol owes every second of their music to meshuggah.
they cut and paste meshuggah riffs directly into their songs.

That's sad.

I loved this track so much when I first listened to it. And all subsequent times of listening to it. I don't really understand how this isn't awesome. The cheesy breakdown is great as well.

Haake has got to be one of the best drummers in metal.
