I honestly don't care about other people's opinions on Type O. If you don't wanna listen, don't, it's your loss. This is one of the best Type O songs period.
"BUT OMG IT GREW ON ME, ITS SUCH A GOOD ALBUM FUCK YOU."
Give me a fucking break. it's a solid Swedish melodic death album, that would have been way better if it was released in the 90s when that sound was more fresh.
Compared to Somberlain and SotLB it SUCKS FUCKING DONKEY BALLZ

I always thought that Kevorkians Angels album 'disorder is in order' was kind of disappointing, mainly because I had such high expections because of their live sound.
I'm positive at work, but I bash on popular music a lot too. i stopped doing it for a long time, but over the past year, my coworkers have introduced me to some terrible music.
one of my coworkers mentioned blur the other day. song 2 is the worst thing to ever happen to sports stadiums. i hate that song so much.
Song 2's jock jams assimilation is the most disappointing thing about the band but the rest of their singles are near perfect pop songs (Leisure, the first album excepted)

Wasnt that song on FIFA 98 or something too?

and i back World Coming Down as their best. October Rust held that position for so long, but WCD inched its way to the top. All Hallow's Eve might be one of the greatest songs ever recorded.
yeah Shining is a snoozefest. you've made the Forgotten Woods/Burzum comparison before, but aside from being "black metal", they sound nothing alike.
I have no idea what you listened to. Forgotten Woods' The Curse of Mankind has very similar production to some old Burzum, and the vocals were similar to Varg's. Very throaty screams with heart and soul thrown behind it.
Symphony X - Paradise Lost
Angra - Aurora Consurgens
i thought these were pretty good!
I think I agree with your assessment on its own. But I found both to be disappointing steps down from their predecessors. In both cases, the bands' preceeding TWO albums were home runs (IMO).

In fact, I'll go out and say that Dax's solo stuff was extremely boring to me, worse than anything Deadboy did.
I wish Agents and/or Acid Bath was still a band.

Yea Dax's solo stuff was weak. I liked Dead Boy, but didn't get why everyone fuckin RAVED about it like it was SO good. AOE
World painted Blood was more disappointing to me cause everyone claimed it was the return to form record and that Jeff was writing it not Kerry. Then the record came out and it was all recycled riffs and horrible lyrics. Every song I could pick out what older song they had stolen riffs from. Plus this last tour was the first time I've seen them and thought they were horrible.

Couldn't agree more, World Painted Blood is TERRIBLE
In 1996 Strawberries in Framingham had a signing with Danzig. I made the mistake of purchasing his new album (there was no internet) there for the band to sign. So instead of anything else signed by Glenn Danzig I have this turd.
Joyless "Wisdom and Arrogance" is atrocious, but "Unlimited Hate" is pretty good. listened to Forgotten Woods again, it's tolerable but nothing spectacular.
when i was in high school this album came to my attention, and everyone loved it. So naturally i eventually bought it(kazza wasn't around yet and i was still sporting a dos computer so sampling wasn't an option). I liked cowboys from hell at the time, and i was told vdop was even better.
Not only did i think it was over hyped, but thought of it as "gay as shit". i remember listening to walk the first time being like "what the fuck?"
Reinventing the steel SSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!1!1!!!@!121!!!.
we're not just naming off bad albums people, disappointing means you EXPECTED it to be good and were DISAPPOINTED.
Yeah- Rust In Peace, then Countdown........DISAPPOINT
Handle With Care, then Out of Order.....DISAPPOINT
Joey Belladona Anthrax, then Bush Anthrax.....DISAPPOINT
Whoever said Bethlehem non dark Metal is retarded. Suicide and Dictius De Necare are 2 of the better, most original albums to come out of the entire 90's let alone the bands catalog. Give me a fucking break.
For me it would have to be Agalloch. Whatever that shitty new album is called.
Also, I do enjoy Dictius a lot, but Dark Metal holds more of a emotional connection to me because the shit I was going through when I first bought it. Needless to say, I have all 3 and spin them regularly a year. Dark Metal holds more value to me. Let's cry together about it.

Meow meow meow, I'd say all those rare Slayer LPs I hid among during he fire. I didn't get a chance to listen to them but their flame retardant abilities were most disappointing! Meow meow meow!
