I'm pretty curious to hear what kind of a "transition" he's trying to make. I liked the last couple albums. I know its a natural reaction to compare Burzum now to Burzum then, but really guys? How much have any of you changed in the past 5 years living in your own homes? How many years did Varg spend locked up? And in the meantime, music took its own twists and turns and how much of that was he even exposed to? I don't know what jail is like in Norway, but if he legitimately went all that time without the flood of shit music all the rest of us had to endure... I don't know, I guess its just interesting to hear what direction a person would take without all that external influence. It isn't realistic to hope that he'd still be doing the same thing and I, for one, am glad for that simple fact.

Not a fan of post prison Burzum but because I consider it to be my favorite of all black metal projects, I'll still check out anything that Varg produces. Hopefully this recording will be something worthwhile.

I think they are mostly opposed to the views of Hoest on Islam...what confuses me is that they don't think about his views on all "Palestinian redeemer complex" religions, including christianity and judaism as well
