INVOCATION OF NEHEK Announce Tour Dates - June 9, 2004

Hartford's INVOCATION OF NEHEK have lined up a few shows in support of their most recent three-song demo, which was recorded by Ken Susi (UNEARTH). The dates are as follows:

Jun. 11 - The Chance Theatre - Poughkeepsie NY
Jun. 12 - Somers Teen Center - Somers, CT
Jul. 02 - The Chance Theater – Poughkeepsie, NY
Jul. 04 - Fat Cats – Springfield, MA
Jul. 10 - DropZone - New Haven, CT
Jul. 23 - Exit 23 – Haverhill, MA
Jul. 24 – TBA – Mayorstown, PA

The group's aforementioned demo — containing the tracks "My Gift To Liars", "Memoirs Of A Drowned Angel" and "My Own Mona Lisa" — is currently available for download at this location.

INVOCATION OF NEHEK are currently negotiating with a few labels for the release of a full-length album, which will likely also be produced by Susi.

why are they letting Ken engineer their shit?
honestly, his engineering work is fucking boring.

compressed digital audio. Go pro-tools and generic metalcore engineering work.

$1,000-$1,200...which is like however long it takes to get the shit done.

I was talking to Ken Cmar about him the other day. and his old price was $25-$30 and hour which is saving you $15 roughly. I don't know how much it has gone up. It's not horrible work, but it's really not interesting at all and there is no real dynamics to anything because he compresses the living shit out of it. I mean he is a nice guy, i've talk to him on many occations but I don't think he'd be my choice engineer for anything.
