I wish this movie was still in the existence of being made...instead we have the gay mulatto Conan. Not that I am racits but seriously, Film wise Conan was Aryanesque (arnold) and in the stories he was supposed to be a bronzed Cimmerian (celt-nordic)
but instead we get some dreaded dude...but enough about the new movie let us Movie nerds rejoice in what almost was....
King Conan was to have Arnold reprise his role as an older Conan, to be directed by John Milus (who did the first movie) and to even possibly star Conan's original sidekick as a Mongol-like King. I think the Wachowskis were even on board.
and here we are at 2010 and instead we get this piece of crap that follows Hollywood's current remake the 80s stint. If anyone has read the new leaked script for the 2011 movie it's horrible and is going to be branded the most racist movie in a long time. Basically a bunch of white dudes team up and fight evil blacks led by an evil arab.
