Isn't there a movement for the Pushtu people to make a new country out of afganistan and pakistan? I think there are serious talks between pakistan and tribal areas to do this...then the pushtu will just harass afganistan until they give them tribal lands there.

Also, the solution to end suicide bombings is to allow locals to own handguns. In Israel, one of the most gun-friendly places, people rarely attempt gunning down civilians or blowing shit up because in the non-Arab areas everyone packs a piece. Different story in the Palestinian part.
