I am trying to throw some ideas together about a line up for a 3 day type fest, I cant really get into specs at the moment. But I will say that I have some investors that are marginally interested in making this happen. My question is what bands would you kill to see here in the states? I want to have more obscure type bands that are not the type that you see here 3 times a year. Maybe 3 days and each day has a specific genre like day 1 Death/grind day 2 black metal day 3 doom/death.
So ideas would be helpful.
I may repost a poll thread if there is enough interest.
Thanks guys.

Dan pleaseBring My Dying Bride and i can die happy
You're trying to put a fest together, yet couldn't figure out how to get your dvd player to connect right to your tv the other night. Things that make you go hmmm.

What does that have to do with it?
I have been a musician for about 20+ and been playing/booking shows the whole time, where does a fucking tv fit in? Things that make me go hmmmm.
in that case... a few suggestions that come to mind. (could probably think of more later haha)
Death/Grind:
Abysmal Torment
Crackdust
Deathless Anguish
Flagitious Idiosyncrasy in the Dilapidation
Kalmah (melodic death I know, but still would be awesome)
Mutilated Spastic Iguanas
Pentacle
Rudra
Torsofuck
Black:
The Axis Of Perdition
Azaghal
Be Persecuted (from China, that would be difficult but amazing)
Belenos
Darkestrah
Darkmoon Warrior
Darkspace
Enochian Crescent
IXXI
Lifelover
Peste Noire
Ondskapt
Melechesh
Potentiam
Summoning
Taake
Trinacria (if possible)
Death/Doom:
definitely agreed on the Comatose Vigil and Ahab
Abstract Spirit (similar members to Comatose)
The Bottle Doom Lazy Band
Noekk (progressive doom band)
Thrash (if possible):
Chakal (I have connections to them and could contact them for you if you'd like)
Thats a shame you've never hard them. I don't know what your taste in music is but Archgoat is one of the best black metal bands still playing shows in the world right now. Absolute devil worship.
If you like Primordial, and you also happen to like doom, I'd check out Void of Silence (who I'd also like to see live). Alan Nemtheanga from Primordial was once a member. While some of their lyrics make me roll my eyes, Human Antithesis is a cool album and their newest material sounds promising.

Thanks, I'll check it out.
Also, when did Negura Bunget break up?? I guess I missed the memo on that one.
Averse Sefira
Negura Bunget
Deathspell Omega
Primordial (I would die if this happened)
Swallow The Sun
Tyr
these are all great bands, good selection.

Deathspell Omega doesn't preform live. hehe. Taake will never be able to enter the US, and would never want to. Negura Bunget broke up a few months ago. You guys are mentioning some pretty outlandish suggestions. How about The Chasm? or perhaps Master? I would LOVE to get these guys back around here, and it seems somewhat doable. maybe....
I think it'd be a bad idea to have the three days categorized like that...otherwise you wont get many people buying 3 day passes because say they are only into doom, they'll only go to day three and so on...

mix the days up...
Good suggestion, I was thinking that too, but maybe The headliners just be genre specific? Still have a year to figure that stuff out.
I would love to see any of the black death war kult bands:
Archgoat would be amazing
Prolcamation
Morbosidad
Revenge
I would suggest Blasphemy, but I suspect they can't get in the country.
For Death Metal, I think MACHETAZO would be awesome. I think they are one of the best metal bands out there. They haven't played in the country for maybe 4 years.
