This fucking rules. Thanks for posting! |

I fucking hate friday shows. I always have to work. |

bombay cafe pre-party! democracy center's toilet now has powerful flush! |
Are you one of the people in that picture from the Bathtub Shitter show in your profile? |
You are a regular Sherlock Holmes. |
i'm the one that's not japanese or steve pid or you. |
If anyone remembers Frank Castle Gonna Break Your Neck! (2 Russian kids who played angry hardcore around boston this summer), they may or may not weasel their way onto this show. |
I'd like to hear this band, two man shit rules. |
I saw them, they were killer. I also bought some compilation CD with them on it, which was also killer. |
I bought their EP online and am an idiot and didn't realize I was getting vinyl, which was not killer on account of me not owning a record player, and then one of them sent me a package of CDs that I guess got lost in the mail between here and Russia, so mostly I remember them being great both times seeing them and ytdffjhfviytddst['. |
If you dig this type of music getting a record player is a great investment, I bought one over four years ago at Salvation Army with speakers and all for $12, still works like a charm. |
I feel like I would get one, see the light, and spend a shitload of money replacing much of my music with vinyl. I sort of want to have a nice turntable just to get the first 6 Black Sabbath albums. I think it would be crucial for me to get one of those record players that allow for ripping straight to mp3 were I ever to bother. |
If an mp3 ripper is what you're looking for I think you'll be spending into the triple digits for a player, but not by much. |
Well, I'm not looking for one so much as I would probably want one if I wanted a record player at all. The only reason I would want one at this point is for bands that seem to only release stuff on vinyl, only release some things on vinyl, and stuff like Black Sabbath that both sounds way better on vinyl and is music I care about. |

Yes, if you're looking deeper into this kind of music you're not going to find bands putting out CDEPs, they always release on 7".
Vinyl is also the ideal format for split releases, as long as it's only one band on each side. |
considering i have the first six black sabbath albums and 3 record players, i don't see where your major malfunction lies. |

Hmmm... |
Nice. Bombay Cafe pre party, is this really on? |
Yes. Katie says the toilets work now so pre-show buffets will be okay. |
clara claims it has "POWERFUL FLUSH"
let's bombay, craig. |
Sometimes I require a powerful flush. |
This shit is todayyyyyyyy. |

This show ruled ass. I remember the last time Vitamin X came around and played Providence, unfortunately I decided to get into them AFTER they showed up...so here I am patiently waiting for this band to come back so I can redeem myself. Here it is in Boston. No stage, but tons of dives and crowd surfs. The vocalist did a shitload of jumps off the drum and at the end of the set was basically carried around the entire showspace, and the people were careful enough to avoid the chandeliers. Old and new songs were played. Lyrics were sung to. It was a good night for punk music.
Not to mention Fruit Salad ripped ass, so glad I got to see them finally. |
