Went and interviewed today for this job; I'm pretty sure I got it. It's for a "Security Systems Specialist." Which pretty much means I'll be setting up user accounts in AD and granting access permissions, at least at first. Well, I'm here on my first day. So far, it's killing my brain, but it seems like I'll learn it quick. Mostly just creating database accounts, LAN accounts, mainframe accounts, etc.; thrilling stuff. I'm in an area of the building that's referred to as "the X Tower," so that's pretty cool - it sounds like I'm some kind of mutant wizard.
