my exgfs dad has it set up so that she can record shows from a website on their webserver and it records it and sends it to her comp in ipod format podcast thingy...

you can do that with tivo too.

How is the interface on MythTV? I looked into setting one up but said fuck it. BeyondTV's interface really surprised me. There's a lot of little annoyances that can go wrong with DVR Software, and surprisingly BeyondTV had them all covered. Windows MCE has a great one, too.

I hope that mythtv rocks with my ATI all in wonder. I'm probably going to load it at some point.

oh the ATI has a remote too. I really think carina will like this as much (if not more) than the tivo.

and I hope I can mount my tivo and and another drive so tivo'd things can be watched upstairs.

hmmm if its not possible right away i'm sure that that there is some sort of hack to do it.
