I've been looking into Boston based venues in MA to book for my band, The Brethren (myspace.com/thebrethrenband), check it out if you'd like. We're a loud rock band from NH, Aaron is familiar with us, and we'd like to get into some sales tax paying areas, as our drummer goes to school in Boston. Any good reccomendations? Key people? Venues? We wouldn't mind playing bars, all ages shows, etc. Press kits aren't a problem. Figured I'd ask here first. Thanks.

there's not much in the boston area. the skybar in somerville is another venue worth looking into.

Is it different in MA? In NH 9 out of 10 bar venues will let you play as long as all members are of at least 18 years old, some don't even care. We're 20-21.
