Just moved into a place in Franklin, MA. The place is pretty sweet despite appearing to be the stereotypical New England suburb. We managed to show up on the day that the neighborhood block party was going on. Absolutely absurd...extremely over the top. Tons of fireworks and middle-aged people getting absolutely hammered and being way too excited to have young people around.

of course...after I move i guess they opened a huge bead store there...I'm going to be going soon since I still have items in storage there, so i think one sunday afternoon the rev and i will be in town!

heh, i just moved to Bellingham. its nice here but my job is in CT but that will change soon, hoping to get a job in Boston shortly.

oh and if i may, stay away from Newbury Comics in Bellingham. all they talk about is Killswitch IsGay BUT they do have some cool shit in there, just gotta avoid the fashioncore kids.

Do you live near Franklin Village? That's the exit i take to get home, w/o i'm off RT 126 on the 140 side (not towards RI). New house just built last year and i like the area.

yeah newbury has some of the hard to find stuff but its infested with fashioncore kids on the weekends. its that theater there. i remember i went to the cold stone ice cream shop just trying to get an ice cream with the ol lady and these kids were blasting killsux so loud and being so damn obnoxious i wanted to take the kid's sk8board and slam it over his blue spiked up hair! sorry, rant over. just avoid that place on the weekends especially at night or you might find yourself assaulting one of these so called 'metal' kids.

I'd rather have fashion-core queers than the gangster wannabes we have in CT. The kids today.

I used to live in Lynn, and I learned how to drive in NH it is completly different in mass, I mastered the mass driving skills. for example. When taking a left turn onto a street pull out and block of the lane that is flowing opposite the direction you are headed and wait until you can get into your lane even if it takes 10 to 15 minutes.

and never ever ever break for yellow lights, only break on reds.

1. The passing lane is for PASSING. Not travel. Yes, you can get a ticket for traveling in the left lane of a highway. Better hope that douchebag going 90 behind you doesn't turn out to be a trooper having a bad day.

2. It is illegal to pass in the travel lane. I remember in drivers ed, 15 years ago, they taught us that the front of your car should never pass the back bumper of the car to your left. It's dangerous, what if the guy you're telling to "go around me" decides to do it right when you want to pull into the right lane. That's a pretty bad blind spot over there.


In summation: I might be going 95, but I'll put money on it that YOU'RE the retard that causes an accident.

i did word that wrong, when i pass someone i go 65 in the left lane, or the fast lane, or passing lane, whichever suits you. i travel in the middle lane though, because yes i know that the left lane is not a travel lane, and have been pulled over for it. i will continue to do 65 because again it is the speed limit, and you speeding douchebags can just let your heads explode.

and i will bet that you doing 95 will also be a crash cause, because someone doing 50 will pull in front of you, and you are going far too fast to slow down quick enough, and will slam right into them, when going 65 would have allowed you to react quicker.

Actually, that's why I'm most likely doing 95. I see some douche driving like an ass, or even multiple douches, I'll pass them. I most often stay at about 80, and as far away from the other cars as possible. I'm one of the most defensive drivers you'll ever meet, I just go really fast.

Also I need to mention, I drive a car that's BUILT for slowing down and speeding up really fast. I'm not one of those dirtbags in a van, suv, or pickup speeding up peoples asses.

I basically always stay in the middle or right lane when I'm doing 65. I do treat the left lane like a passing lane, and if I get a sense that a driver's going to want to pass me, I get in the right lane so they don't have to pass me on the right.

(The "don't do 90" post was me, as well as the one immediately following that)

I will say, though, that it gets a bit irritating getting passed on regular single-lane roads with a double yellow line.
