at my school, i can download the install for AIM but can't actually install AIM, it says contact system administrator.
anyone know how to get past that?
i'm sure i probably need some password

It means the dork incharge of all the computers won't allow any software to be installed unless he does it. I think most if not all schools are like that. Either find a different comp that does have it installed already or use something lame like AIMExpress.

try using the old version of aim express called quick buddy. it was made for comps running win95... that migth work.

you can find it on the aim website... right ont he page for aim express.

or you can just not slack at work/school and actually get something done.

no i had some time between classes and going around boston by myself gets old and for obvious reasons nobody wants to be friends with me
