It's official...and it is pretty lame. This stuff happens at fests all the time, but don't you have to get a work visa for something like this well in advance? Seems quite fishy.
You don't need to get a work visa to play 1 fest, that's total crap. I mean they're coming over for 1 day, they could have just use their tourist visa. They were borrowing equipment most likely so why that fuck applied for a work visa..
One of my friends who does work in the visas business told me that if a band get caught without worker visas they will be sent home right away and then they will not be allowed back in the usa for 10 years.
Yeah I know about the visa crap. But if they flew separately without their instruments the customs wouldn't have figure it out. Really.
None of the punk bands coming over have visas, let me tell you they don't and they still manage to tour the US for 3 or 4 weeks.
