"Sometimes in April"
Has anybody seen this movie yet? I wouldn't think many here would bother. But you should. It's a rather interesting movie about the genocide in Rwanda.
I heard about thins most wack event afew years ago but I really didn't know much about it. Several hudren THOUSAND "Tutsis" were killed by the "hutu" in less than a month. (if I remember correctly.)
There's another movie about that called "Hotel Rwanda". I have yet to see that one.
Samantha Power (local writer) wrote a kickass article in Atlantic Monthly on the US Non-Intervention in the Rwandan genocide. I swear you'd think the Clinton Administration was run by Huey and Dooey.
Some dude in the movie was like "We don't have any oil or (something) why would they come here?" (or something like that.) He was right. If they had resources the u.s. would have been all over that.
