a relitively early show by Brockton standards
I want to see Pale Horse for the first time, and also, what's wrong with Emilio Estivez? |
im pretty sure the only way i would go to this show was if there was a band that played songs about emilio estivez. |
im pretty sure they dont have any songs about the mighty ducks |
"so he says...EMILIOOOOO." |
umm take this gayness to the bridge 9 board.. |

i thought dudes in tyag are suppose to hate colin of arabia and not go to any of their shows?
Naw, I stay out of the fighting.
I'm not sure how COA views the new TYAG members, but I joined Terminally basically after the battle so I don't view myself as part of the conflict.
I like the kids from both past and present TYAG and COA, I've known Colin longer than I've known the current lineup of TYAG with the exception of Mark.
I enjoy COA. |
Knuckle Puck needs to change their name to Men At Work.
Now there's a quality Esteves reference. |

haha, i was so looking forward to seeing how bad you'd screw up we are 138 this time. .....LANG

fuck you boston.
I'm still stuck in traffic. |
i was late for knucklepuck, but here's what i thought about the rest
hammer bros: i thought this was the confrontation until i was told otherwise. it's amazing how one can go to 3/4 hardcore shows a month in boston/south shore and never see the hammer bros, i've seen their name about 02924092489 times. i liked them , i'd like to hear them on cd before i say i really like, or just kinda like them though.
pale horse: wow. they were so fucking good. they have their own breakdown, i can't describe it, but it's awesome.
colin of arabia: brophy introduced them and jokingly said to forget about slapshot and 10 yard fight, that these guys were the real kings of boston hardcore. however, it would not have been a stretch for him to say they are probably one of the best 'non legend' hardcore bands in the area. they've had better sets, but they were still awesome.
death before dishonor: i like them on cd, but i LOVE them live. i know metal kids have a hardtime accepting a hardcore band as 'brutal', but live...these guys are brutal. and the cover at the end was sick.
i feel like the rev, making a review and kissing ass to all the bands that played the show. but all the bands were really good, and except for the one tough guy that got thrown out, the show went pretty smoothly. there seems to be more unity at roman's shows than any other venue i go to. |

i guess you don't read all his reviews...since he doesn't kiss ass and just gives his opinions tsk tsk tboner
you've missed replies from retarded bands threatening him and stuff
sure he doesnt. wink wink, nudge nudge. |
for my money, Pale Horse is one of the best bands in new england right now. |
finally home.
working on pictures. |

the confrontation didn't play. they are playing next week at the same venue. I did, however, get a copy of their demo.
hammer bros: I don't know what it was, but I came from the FASSW show to this one and um.. it just seemed like the atmosphere we down. no one seemed like interested in them at all (except for the 2 people dancing) which sucks cause they are a cool oldschool hardcore band.
pale horse: this band totally destroyed live. I liked them before, but man, they'd gotten so much better since the last time that I saw them. Was it the signing? more shows? more practice? the world will never know. doesn't matter cause they were awesome. some day, I need to figure out how if sounds translated to a silver platter.
colin of arabia: "matt's holding a guitar" he told me to type that. their set was awesome too. tons of people getting knocked around and having fun. plus, they did the misfits cover for their last time ever. this is just about the 1 year anniversary of coa.
death before dishonor: returning from europe and they've only gotten better. What a show for them to come back to play. It really couldn't have been better. Plus, it seems they've all learned to jump while playing. people moved non-stop. Aaron (death threat) came on stage for one song. I'm not sure which though. they played both the "anthems" off the 2 CDs and plenty of other tracks. they end of the set (billy idol cover) had chris (boston beat down) grabbing the bass and playing and a big chaotic mess. |
i went to that lobster festival thats on collin's shirt like 5 years ago.
it was totally stupid. |
damn... and I had such high hopes for it |
yellow shirts were so in last night. |
