splenda is the "better" of the sweeteners since it contains no aspertame.

however, some "sweeteners" when stored at 75F will breakdown into fermeldahide. A lot of this stuff was sent to the troops in the first gulf war... they had HUGE warehouses under the sun of this stuff and Gulf War syndrome might be related to this fact.
