Hey Guys
After The Taste of Silver played on Friday, 2/25 at Dee Dee's, Alex's hi-hat stand ended up missing.
It's understandable that someone may have grabbed it by accident on the way out. Please get in touch if you do have it; we'll even drive to pick it up. We won't be upset, we just want it back so don't be afraid that anyone will be gruff or what-not if you say you have it. You can even give it to a friend for us to pick it up from if it makes you feel less awkward.
The cymbals on it were sabian and the stand had blue masking tape on part of it to mark it.

this might not be accurate im not sure if the tape is still on it but they are AAX Xcellerator hats with a flat finish i dont even care about the stand the hihats matter much more |

the finish totally changes the sound.
last week I tried a blue epiphone G400 and a red epiphone G400 and I was completely confused....one sounded bright and the other warm! then I tried a black one and it was different from the other two!!! WTF!?!?!?! |

last week i rubbed regular paper on my birdhouse and all it did was rip the paper.... then when i tried sand paper it smoothed it out the rough spots |

all guitars have slight differences. it's probably due more to the fact that epi's are made cheaply and will naturally have a greater variation in sound than a more expensive model where they take care to make sure everything is consistent. |

IF ANYONE THAT PLAYS DRUMS OR LOADED EQUIPMENT FOR HIS/HER BAND THAT NIGHT COULD CHECK HIS/HER BAND'S DRUM INVENTORY AND SEE IF THEY HAVE AN EXTRA, THAT WOULD BE GREAT.
It's come to my attention that several bands have not had the courtesy to actually check. This is a matter of a missing item, it would be well embraced if people could respect that and make this a matter of some importance. Thanks alot. it sucks losing stuff. In my career of being a musician i've lost a snare drum,2 cymbals, a delay pedal, a tuner, and a half dozen stands and cables. Also a whole box of t-shirts. Not always my fault, but it still sucks

checked everything out at practice tonight. no go. sorry alex. i realized later that all our shit was in the van before you guys even got done. hopefully it turns up...maybe it's a dumb question but did you call dee-dee's? maybe it got overlooked in the shitstorm of gear there and got left behind. |

I guess its b8s for tomorrow with the red chord unless this dude responds from craigs list. oh and i did call dee dees and i drove out there again and checked for myself but i was actualyl thinking of not doing it at first since i looked the night b4. i already got a new stand thats way cooler than my last so all i need is my damn cym balls |
