Bands like Vattnet Viskar, Wolves In The Throne Room, Deafhaven and Sanhet are obvious. They have little do with black metal and are basically playing indie rock.

I don't care if a band works hard or how long they have been around. When they dilute down their sound the way Deathspell Omega, Enslaved and Blut Aus Nord have, they're symptomatic of the problem. It's because they start incorporating that indie rock post bullshit that these other bands even exist. Every one of the bands I listed has done that crap and you give them a pass because you can't face the sad fact that you listen to hipster trend jumping pussy bullshit. Say what you want about Darkthrone changing their sound. At least they still play metal and haven't done any of that indie rock poser shit.

And Leviathan is the biggest pile of shit that ever passed for black metal. Total faggot music written by a poser hipster for other poser hipsters. Xasthur is even worse.
