This is a message board and people are going to post what they wish. You don't seem people anonymously jumping to the aid of union working posters here when they get picked on, do you? They serve our country even more-so than people in the military.
If the USA was in constant state of emergency due to an outside threat, then I'd back your statement. At the moment, 89 percent of military useage is being utilized in the aid/pillage of other countries, not serving/protecting our current worldy "super power".
