I love rediculous raw jazz trios and quartets, and female jazz singers, but there's a point where too many elements spoils it. Big band is alright too especially when Buddy Rich or Gene Krupa are involved. That, Mahavishnu and some other far-out prog stuff (aside from the standard Yes, Floyd, Diamond etc.) is about all I can stand. And of course I listened to way too much Rush before I realized metal existed.
