this. mushrooms taken casually is kind of a travesty. that's how i started, and it was a blast, but once i took the time to "do a faggot ritual" with them, the experience was infinitely better. perhaps that's due to knowing how they work from many experiences before, but either way, they really should be used to open spiritual portals internally, not just to "make everything funny looking".

2 summers ago i and 3 other people went out to a sand pit in the middle of the woods, under a mid-July full moon, when it was about 80 degrees. we each took 5 grams, and to this day each person i went with says it was the most unbelievable experience they could never have imagined. i fully agree, i walked out of those woods a different person. i just can't take them casually anymore.
