The stock pickups sounded okay but the manufacturing quality was junk. After just a few live shows during the summer both pu's shit the bed. I brought it my cousin to take a look at and he said that the sweat from playing had "infected" the pickups and burned them out. He said they could be re wound but it'd be a better deal to get new ones. Overall, I love the guitar but it's not the best quality, I've been spoiled with my Gibson.
