i agree that a compromise is a good idea and that the government knows no such word, but it seems like the "native americans" know no such word as well... i dunno...

i don't buy into the line of thinking behind "we ripped this continent from them." yes, there is truth to that, but why can't we let the past be in the past? i mean, what would you all think if i started complaining that you ripped this land that i live on in arizona from the mexicans (which is true to some extent) if none of the past had happened the way it did, there would be no america. it's debatable that this country is really the best given current situations, but i'd rather live here then among the 90% of the population that my family came from in mexico. politics suck there between the rich and the poor, way way way worse than it ever could be here....

but i'm off topic... i just wish the native americans would stop complaining that we're ripping on what belongs to them. yes, it belongs to them as it was a person of their race, but it belongs to everyone as everyone has something to gain from the scientific knowledge these remains have. a compromise would be good, but we've gone over that. ;)
