the reason I asked that question is when Claire and "Locke" first got outside the temple, Claire said something like "why don't you just have Sawyer or Jin do it?"...I think you're right about Kate and Jin, they're "in the group" so they don't get killed....but it made it sound like Sawyer may have "turned" so to speak

I also think both sides are recruiting, obviously "Locke" was last night, but I also think Jacob is in the middle of doing the same...seems to have Hurley, and thinks he has Jack, and he has that woman who's been leading Sun, Ben, and the pilot around...plus these people who are supposedly coming to the island
