In the event you find yourself not going to any shows this weekend and want to see some crazy sexy movies!

CAGED HEAT

Fri & Sat, Feb 26 & 27 @fter midnite

$9.75/ $6.75 Coolidge Members

Please note: CAGED HEAT will be screening at 12:30am Friday and Saturday night due to the long running time of Shutter Island.

Legendary producer Roger Corman helped kick-start the careers of Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola, James Cameron, John Sayles, and countless others. Under Corman's tutelage, Jonathan Demme made his directorial debut with the women-in-prison film CAGED HEAT. Now a cult classic, the movie features female inmate Jacqueline (Erica Gavin), who is sentenced to prison on drug-related charges. Jacqueline bonds with a group of fellow female inmates as they fight against their oppressive warden, played by horror icon Barbara Steele.

CRAZY MAMA

Fri & Sat, Feb 26 & 27 @fter midnite

$9.75/ $6.75 Coolidge Members

Another Roger Corman-produced cult classic. Cloris Leachman stars as Melba, a mother who is forced to flee California after losing her Long Beach beauty parlor. The film, set in the 1950s, follows Melba’s crime spree across America as she travels with her mother (Ann Sothern), pregnant daughter (Linda Purl), and her daughter’s greaser boyfriend (Don Most). Crazy Mama is a humorous look at three generations of women hitting the road with no reservations.
