Also, to make an even MORE concise point: No Christian attacked you. Here, or the other thread. Sorry that christianity's past examples of the same frailty ALL human kind historically shares offend you so greatly, but it still doesn't give you a free pass to persecute them. That, in fact, is the same thinking you seem to be so against.

For the record, I'm a satanist. I disagree with the christian code and roman catholic church as much as you do. I just don't feel the need to take pot-shots every time christianity is mentioned.

Again, no one did ANYTHING to hurt you, you jumped in with the shit. YOU are an asshole here. I'm just hoping you can see it, identify it, and learn from it to avoid being an asshole next time. As I get older, I've found this method far more rewarding than just smacking someone in the mouth, long term. In the last few years I'm just getting tired of being/living with such intolerant assholes.

First off, you made a point using personal assumptions, ie. I know these people who are this way, so I can infer people are this way, therefore it matters. Guess what? It doesn't. I didn't say Christians cannot be smart people, just that it would be impossible to use one's "Christianity" as evidence of any kind of intelligence because it is so removed from an actual "Christian" creed, hence, NOT ACTUALLY CHRISTIAN (I guess one could give points for centuries of inventiveness...another argument, another time) which was arguing an OPINION presented by someone on this board (Conservationist). So, though it may have seem unprovoked, it was a challenge to a previous assertion.

Second off, congrats on being a Satanist.

Thirdly, I post on a messageboard, which is a sounding off board for ideas. I've made it obvious that I don't like Christianity. Why would I avoid voicing that feeling? Did I attack anyone personally (besides CTB, awhile back...who I have no problem with, and I think is mutual)? I live in a Christian society, and have fun arguing that in any way. I'm not intolerant, as I've yet to commit any crime against any person of an Abrahamic faith...my parents are Christians. I'm just someone who doesn't agree, historically, politically, socially...sorry.

And thanks for the scolding life lesson, of me identifying my asshole-isms and trying to work on them in the future. I'm glad as you're getting older and wiser you're really identifying cases such as me and making a positive effort to re-efface my attitudes and behaviors.
