I've got the coveted mid 80's Simul 2:95 power amp with 6L6's and EL34's and a Mesa Quad pre-amp, which is basically the pre-amp sections of the Mark II C+ and Mark III. One of my students is a guy in his mid 40s who buys and flips older Gibsons and Fenders. I think it's safe to say that his '74 Les Paul Custom is the nicest guitar I've ever played.
