I hate to call the Waaaahmbulance but I'm on hold right now with time to kill, and I feel like bitching.

As some of you may or may not know I was in a pretty bad car accident a little over a month ago. I was fine but some little kid in an SUV totaled my car with about 2 grand left in payments on it. Insurance took a month to settle my claim and pay me for it. During that time I had my rental car towed from right outside my house because the car didn't have enough power to drive on the ice in my driveway.

So I bought another car off this guy on Craigslist. Got a sweet deal, the car is working out great. I get a call from him last week that my check bounced. I drop what I'm doing, drive down to the bank, wait a half an hour to talk to a rep and I find out that the money from my insurance company wouldn't be available until the 24th. So I cancel the check, give the guy the remaining balance in cash, and write him a new check. Dude was kind of pissed but he understood.

I get another call today from the guy telling me that the check I wrote him won't clear until March 5th. He's trying to be cool about it, but he's obviously pissed and I don't blame him. I just spent 20 minutes on hold with the bank to find out that the money has already left my account, and I can't even give the guy cash for it.

Mountains and mountains and mountains of bullshit.
