and it's not cheaper for 750gb unless you get them wicked cheap. they are also older with and older manufacturing date (.10 technology not .11). Since they have been plagued with gunked heads from a breakdown in the disk protection layer on the platters.

Right now, the safest drive to get is a 1TB WD green drive. who would have ever EVER guessed that.

Also, if I were putting this into my RAID, 750GB would be far more expensive.
4x1.5TB + 1xRAID box
8x750 + 2xRAID box
which would be cheaper?
