Type O is a good example. I'd personally classify "Slow, Deep, and Hard" as punk/doom album (doom of the sabbath variety). I know a lot of people denounce Type O as a doom band, and they tend to get lumped in with the gothic genre. Type O is diverse, they've mixed (classic)doom, punk, and even pop together. And like I said, there's quality and garbage in all genres; and people should be able to discuss and debate if they'd like, without anyone getting weepy about shit.
