At first he was just powering his house with it, but he ended up with more juice than he could use. By the time the power company frantically attempted to buy him out, he was selling the whole town power dirt cheap. He apparently now sells the juice directly to them, and they turn it around and resell it to the residents of the town at some ungodly markup.
