You obviously never heard the last masters hammer album or kaviar kavalier, or any early root as you would know that some of their music does sound like a collection of that early stuff, besides true black metal is about atmosphere, not mindless shredding of a guitar to impress the audience. Anything untrue would be music made to impress others and not for the self... My $0.02 on this one is that most bands that I have seen that use theatrics, use them to try and make up for lack of musical talent.
