i don't agree with everything you say on this board, but i at least back you up on this. we have homeless americans who are starving, orphaned american babies who need good families, yet there are more americans who care about the welfare of the starving people and orphaned children of other countries, partly because hollywood bigshots like angelina jolie turn their home into a UN daycare. i'm all for helping people, but we need to take care of our own first. if you had a sick and/or starving child, who would you help first, your kid or the sick, starving kid down the street? you clean up your own backyard first, then turn your attention elsewhere after the job is done. if i was ever looking to adopt a kid, i'd damn sure adopt an american kid over some kid elsewhere. yeah, it sucks that there are people all over the world in need, but people need to be responsible for their own messes before they clean up someone else's.
