I personally think this whole thing is hilarious.

I think that if this kind of thing happened to me, in this way, I would laugh about it and have fun at my own expense (like when Alex and Rowan give me crap for the time I said "I am so smart, I go full circle and only APPEAR stupid"). That's what having a good sense of humor is.

Instead, you got these "tough" responses online, being all serious about it. Who cares, guys. Lighten up. Obviously what Jim said got mixed up, that's what makes it so funny.

I mean, it's not hard to get. Clearly everyone knows he just meant "You should stay at the show and watch the bands instead of taking off". It's been said a million times, and whether I agree or not is irrelevent. Just this time, it was said in such a way that it came across kinda silly.

Have a good laugh over it. It's much more tough to walk softly and carry a big stick than front about how hard your life is or when friends post how you can shitbeat someone without friends backing you up.

Oh and for the record, the dude who this involves:

A) Did not start that thread. So stop saying he did.
B) Is a good guy that has done TONS for bands all over the US, not just local bands, and supports bands of ALL genres, not just the kinds he likes.
C) Has been picked on a lot in the last thread and doesn't deserve it. His stance was, and is, "wasn't that funny?" and instead you got these "hardcore" guys calling him all sorts of names and making it out like this dude thinks it's a big deal. Did it ever occur to you that that "Allston" fag was actually trying to support YOUR show, too? So what if he missed one or two bands, it happens. Dude was hungry.
