i'm with you 100% on the integrity thing. there's no other genre of music where bands get paid shit, play in shitty venues, with shitty sound systems, deal with shady "promoters" and scene politic bullshit, and yet still fucking kill every show as if they're playing for 1000 people, and really believe in what they're doing (because that's all you get out of it really).

and the other point that should be made is that REAL death and grind fans are by far the most devoted group of followers of any genre of music. period.
