best metal thursday thus far...probably 50-60 people throughout the night

Mortalis - I didn't know what to expect of these guys but I was thoroughly impressed...fairly standard death metal but they did it well. They rocked a nice cover of War Ensemble as well.

Coffin Birth - I need to see them on better sound systems more often...this was by far the best I've seen them perform thus far. The crowd was really into them and they were all havin a blast on the stage. I guess this was Nick(the bassist's) last show with them, which is unfortunate because his phenomenal bass playing and crazy shenanigans suit the band well.

Sacreligion - We're so awful we should be called SaClayAiken.

Face Full of Shotgun - They were a lot heavier tonight than the other times I've seen them...I'm not quite sure what it was, but it might've been how thunderous the bass drum was. That and the fact that they were pretty spot on. One of the guitarists fucked up his thumb at the end but toughed it out for the last song.

Chris from Zircon/BOE has done an awesome job with these shows thus far, and I can only imagine that they are going to get better...tell everyone you know to come to one of these because every single one has been a great time.

Show gets an A in my opinion
