they mean nu-metal there..


the term, from what I know came from when the move from punk to postpunk (killing joke, most early industrial, slint, etc..)
postpunk was just a way to say "these dudes look like they should be playing punk, but they arent." and the "punk" attitude lumps together a bunch of none-simlar bands that are a break down of the music theory of a genre. This break down is usually a tendancy froma simple music genre to either something more complex (lke mixing classical) or something totally noisey. Apply that to hardcore and bang! the post prefix is made. There are a lot of beutiful cs that come out.
