scotter i am not ticked off i just find these types of threads lame you want an unbiased reply are you kidding me this thread SCREAMED ARGUMENT all over it ecpecially when you said thats what you didn't want

I know, and I do realize it screamed argument like every other thread hahah, which is why I specifically asked to avoid it. I will not make that mistake again. I was hoping people who didn't like the thread would just kind of 'zone' it out, but I guess I'm just going to focus on the lists people post and zone out the rest of the posts myself, it is probably easier that way.

Then again, the Josh/Lucifucked feud is highly entertaining. I hope they continue...

I'm going to give Josh the win over Watchmaker, they would have fit better in either death/grind/black probably, they might listen to old hardcore but they certainly don't play it. But Lucifucked is correct that the term 'metalcore' has existed for some time now, but was really only popularized with this new wave of bands in the past few years. I heard many people refer to Agnostic Front and DRI as that back in the day, and I was there. I even remember in highschool someone referring to my first ever band as 'metalcore'. That was 1990-91.

But, by all means, flame on!
