The New England Punk Goth & Metal Festival proudly presents:
Slaughter House Sunday: The Battle for the NE PGM FEST Stage
Sponsored by:Eddie Ray’s Tattoo Studio II 161 Worthern St Lowell MA 978-441-9292 University Music 1717 Middlesex St. Lowell MA 978-453-6488 In an effort to audition bands for the New England Punk Goth & Metal Festival, Matthew Marchesi, with the help of business partner Anderson Mar, is organizing a summer long battle of the bands at Evos Arts in Lowell. The Battle kicks off on May 15th and 29th from 1:00 pm to 5:15 pm.
These are all ages shows and tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the door. The Battle starts June 5th and runs at least until August 14th.
The festival is currently being organized independently by Matthew and Anderson. Ms. Mar, an independent booking agent for her own bi-monthly Dark Sky night at the Skybar in Somerville, and Matthew have been collaborating on the festival since December 2004. They are currently seeking major sponsorships from huge musical name brands and anything else that goes hand in hand with the three musical genres their festival will adhere to. Says Matthew, “We want to make this thing huge, we want fans of all the genres to come out and have a good time together.” Keep your eyes peeled for Slaughter House Sunday at Evos Arts, 98 Middle Street, Lowell MA., and for The NE PGM FEST in autumn 2005. *NEW DATE ADDED* May 22nd * Official website: http://www.nepgmfest.com To contact Matthew: 978-328-7865 or matthew@nepgmfest.com To contact Anderson: anderson@nepgmfest.com THIS SUNDAY (MAY 15th) Lineup: 1:30 pm 48 Rooms (http://www.48rooms.com) 2:30 pm Massdirge (http://www.massdirge.net) 3:30 pm Dirge Carolers (http://www.myspace.com/thedirgecarolers) 4:30 pm Uncle Big Time (http://www.unclebigtime.com) 5:30 pm Mongrel (http://www.mongrelband.com)
