Thank you Denis Leary. As far as taking the shitty final years off of your life, if you do end up with cancer it almost guarantees you those shitty years, only 20 years earlier than you would have gotten them otherwise. Ever seen someone in the last year of their life dying from lung cancer? Nothing like only being 40 or 50 and needing your diaper changed. Sure you have all that great morphine and oxy, but you won't enjoy it.

Oh, and for the record, I don't give a fuck if people smoke or not. Just, let's not fool ourselves here about the realities. When smokers say shit about it not being harmful or make comments like the ones Denis Leary makes in his routine, they just make themselves look stupid. The propaganda they spout to keep themselves in denial makes most people think smokers are just too dumb to really know what they are doing to themselves. How about just saying "yeah, I smoke, because I enjoy it and don't give a shit about myself" or "yeah, I smoke because I enjoy it and I'm an addict". Too painful to admit? Poser.
