im still taking quotes on getting it pressed.

as dweyer suggested we could get 1000 cds pressed for 500.

jewel cases can be obtained for 20 cents a piece

then i need a quote on the printing for the tray insert and the booklet and get it all shrink wrapped.

or i can get 1000 retail ready black and white for $1000
1000 full color cardboard sleeve things for just under $1000

maybe dyingmuse with the "hookup" at superdups could get a lower price.

thats a crazy cd so far. i also though of doing more than one volume. it is way more feasable than a double disc at this time. if enough bands sign up we could release volume 1 and 2 at the same time.

once i get the price worked out i will be writing a contract for this and put everything in writing.
